My Passion:
I recently graduated Year 12 in 2022, so am very familiar with the preparation required during primary and secondary school to succeed in VCE. During VCE I completed Specialist Mathematics 3/4, Mathematical Methods 3/4, Chemistry 3/4, Physics 3/4, Biology 3/4, and English 3/4. I am also currently studying a Bachelor of Education (in Secondary Education) and a Bachelor of Science at Monash Clayton, in which I major in Mathematics, and minor in Astrophysics.

Approach to tutoring:
I am fully aware that a study strategy may be extremely suitable for one student, but not for another, so I will tailor the lesson structure to the requirements of students' goals and current knowledge of the content. Although mathematics and science interests me, I understand that many students do not share this passion. I do not expect all students to be 100% motivated by these subjects, and therefore, can work towards there personal goal, rather than an A+.
Additionally, I've played sport most of my life. My highlight of my playing years was most definitely footy (Australian Rules Football), as it allowed me to develop teamwork and communication skills. I view tutoring as a team effort, and if footy has taught me anything, it is to look after your team mate. I communicate with students respectfully and patiently, as my prime aim is to look after their learning. I was also the Firsts volleyball captain for my school, developing my leadership skills, and enabling me to guide the team to success.

3-year-old kinder to Year 10 (secondary school).

Experience

My tutoring experience has been extremely positive. I have tutored children, each with different abilities, and worked at their individual level. This helped them to stay engaged and allowed them to improve their results to ones in which they were proud of.

Qualifications
