I believe in helping students to understand concepts, giving them the skills to work out solutions on their own. Practice answering questions to increase knowledge and confidence is also important. Everyone learns in different ways, I will attempt to use different teaching methods to assist the student to learn in the most efficient way. I will also talk to the student about various study/learning strategies, try to improve confidence in their abilities. I will try to encourage an atmosphere where the student feels comfortable disclosing any issues they have with maths and promote positive thinking.

Experience

I have worked as an Instructional Officer teaching military personnel maths and electronics. Class sizes were on average 15 students. Academic level taught was that required to enter university education.

Qualifications

I have a degree in Electronic Engineering, post graduate diplomas for Law and Psychology. I have also passed several exams through the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants.
