Sydney tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Creative Writing, EAL, English, English Literature, Further Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Statistics

My name is Genevieve, and I am passionate about tutoring because I love helping students reach their full potential. My goal is to foster both academic growth and a genuine love of learning.

I specialise in teaching English and Mathematics for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. I strive to keep lessons dynamic and engaging, encouraging students to complete activities with energy and focus, while incorporating brain breaks to promote self-regulation.

Each lesson typically includes a warm-up activity followed by either schoolwork or additional exercises that I can provide. I have experience tutoring and teaching online, so I am happy to offer virtual lessons if your child is traveling or unwell.

For the best communication, please reach out via phone, and I prefer to conduct lessons at the student's home. Thank you!

Experience

Hello Families,

My name is Genevieve Dobson, and I am a dedicated Learning Support Teacher based in the Eastern Suburbs, currently seeking tutoring opportunities to support students who need additional help.

I am currently teaching at Kesser Torah College in Dover Heights, where I specialise in Mathematics and English. I use a multisensory approach to learning, along with active strategies, to ensure students stay engaged and develop a deeper understanding of the material.

In addition to in-person tutoring, I have experience working with students online using platforms such as OneNote and Zoom.

I would be happy to provide references upon request. If you think my services could benefit your child, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you,
Genevieve Dobson
