I am currently studying Bachelor of Music at the University of Queensland specializing in Flute Performance.

I am participating in the University of Queensland Symphony Orchestra playing the flute and piccolo, and singing in the Australian Voices. I also have participated in Queensland Youth Orchestra playing the flute and piccolo.

I am enthusiastic and keen to not just teach my students, but to also be their friend who can give advice to help them develop interests in music and to find the best way for them to schedule their practice. I want to make the most out of my students, as long as they are willing to push through what's hindering them and improve. I want to make my students good musicians, no matter if they are wanting to take AMEB exams or learning for fun and the love of music.

I believe musicianship is an important aspect of instrumental playing. Alongside instrumental techniques, I also offer music theory teaching and aural training, helping students develop strong listening skills, musical understanding, and expressive confidence.

I teach children, teens, and adults, and have experience working with students with ADHD, social anxiety, and autism. My approach is patient, supportive, and flexible — creating a safe and encouraging space for every student to thrive musically.

I am bilingual, I am fluent and able to teach in both English and Mandarin.

have volunteered to teach concert band/flute ensemble sectionals at two difference high school music camps.
