A mum of two and with 30 years teaching experience, in Victoria, interstate and at various overseas posts, I am a highly experienced Science and Mathematics teacher. I am currently teaching full time at one of Australia's most prestigious schools and I love every minute of it! I am happy to support students in:

VCE Units 1 - 4 Biology
VCE Units 1 - 2 Chemistry
VCE Units 1 - 2 General Mathematics
VCE Units 1 - 2 Mathematical Methods

Primary School Mathematics and Science
Year 7 - 10 Science

I also have vast experience training pre-service teachers and have worked in a number of schools as Head of Science and in various Learning and Teaching leadership positions. My students find me very approachable, and I teach solely to help my students achieve their best. I love learning! I like to find out my students' current understanding of particular concepts and skills and help them to break down content before introducing strategies to interpret and complete questions with succinct responses and use of key terms examiners are expecting to see. I am happy to work with the textbooks and other resources my students are using in class.

I have been tutoring students of all ages from primary and secondary school in both Sciences (Biology and Chemistry specialist subjects) and Mathematics up to and including Year 12 Mathematical Methods and General Mathematics (Further).

Rates

$100 per hour for individual students or
Group Tutoring at $150 per hour for two students covering the same subject/content via Zoom.
