With over 2 decades playing and 7 years teaching experience, I bring an approach to lessons that’s engaging, fun and most importantly builds a love for the music! Very passionate about exploring the emotions, meaning and styles of the music and the ways we can bring that out through expression and technique.

Lessons are individually tailored to your current abilities and short-term/long-term goals - whether it be exams, learning songs by yourself, sight-reading or playing by ear. The piano is such a versatile instrument with many possibilities which is why I continually discuss/review what you want to achieve and learn.

I have a passionate teaching approach that incorporates music theory, playing technique and building your confidence and abilities to play musically. I emphasise developing the core foundations of playing alongside methods to play safely, efficiently and with great musical tone. I work with my students to find their unique style and sound whilst exploring repertoire that they are most interested in learning.
