Hello!

My name is Michael, a 23 year old who happened to become obsessed with section 3. To give you some information about my GAMSAT experiences, I am a 97 scorer in section 3 (second attempt) and have scored 90+ in section 3 for all of my sittings after. And I’m here to provide you with the best possible guidance in the hopes to improve your section 3 scores.

I am a science background student. I love sciences and studied science during University and outside University just for my own likings. For my first GAMSAT trial, I thought my science knowledge would be the key to success.

However, things turned out to be different. I was overwhelmed. Not only from the complexities of section 3 STEMs and the fatigue, but from the fact that I was unable to put my science knowledge to use. I came out of the exam with frustration. I knew about the science topics that came up, yet, I became clueless for almost every STEM.

And this is what made me dissect section 3 in depth.

I’m not here to tell you to do this and do that. I’m not here to expect you to replicate what I did. Because we are all different. We have different strengths and weaknesses, as well as different levels of knowledge.

However, what I can guarantee is that I will be able to direct you in the correct way, change the way you perceive section 3, and realise there are certain skills which section 3 looks to assess. And believe it or not, you all have these skills! But, from tutoring and my own experience, being able to utilise those skills and execute them with perfection during the exam is not as easy.

I have tutored section 3 for 9 sittings, this being my 10th. Every sitting, I adjust my lessons and content, produce new resources, write science notes specific for section 3 etc.
