Hi everyone! My name’s Jasmine and I go by they/she pronouns. I’m a qualified, experienced educator with 7 years of professional experience teaching and tutoring secondary Japanese and VCE English. I’ve supported students to achieve significant results across academic outcomes, self-efficacy and engagement.

My approach is all about fostering student autonomy and agency and equipping learners with useful strategies and steps to empower them to take ownership of their learning now and in the future. This means utilising my professional experience, curriculum expertise and learning strategies and tools to create opportunities for YOU to maximise YOUR academic success!

Underpinning my teaching style is a strong focus on mutual respect, clear communication and empathy. I approach interactions with openness and compassion and use direct and inclusive communication.
