I majored in TESOL in the past two years and I just graduate. My working experience and achievements in relevant area are shown in my Resume below. I am able to teach all subjects for primary school students and English for EAL learners in both primary and secondary schools.

I would love to tutor due to the following reasons.
As a teacher, I have an understanding of the impact teachers can have on students’ futures. I would be inspired by the opportunity to have a positive impact on teenagers who need guidance. To be specific, based on my work experience as a tutor for junior secondary school students at a Chinese international school, I am passionate about young people of this age who are curious and thoughtful. I hope to help them improve their learning skills as well as the right values. I am also committed to fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment and willing to help young people fulfill their potential and find their future direction. These can be accomplished through face-to-face tutoring where I can understand the specific needs of students and find according teaching methods. I believe I can practice my own teaching skills during the progress before I start my further education.

My lesson plans and scaffolding will vary depending on the student. Overall, I will begin by observing two lessons, combined with parent feedback, to get a full picture of the student's learning needs, strengths and weaknesses. Based on this, I will create a long-term learning plan, such as drawing up goals for a one-month learning cycle and setting the level of achievement the student needs to achieve. I will then set up specific planning for each lesson and inform students and parents before the lesson. In the case of EAL learning, I will arrange for the speaking and writing components to be practised in different modes. Oral learning will be conducted in the form of listening and practising for pronunciation, giving students specific scenarios for dialogue practice, and having students record themselves for homework and correcting mistakes. Written learning will include reading in-class texts, supplementing the reading of foreign magazines and newspapers that are suitable for students, asking students open-ended and closed-ended questions, and writing exercises that are corrected and rewritten by the students after the corrections. I will organise the content of each lesson according to the specific time of the lesson and arrange breaks in order to give students a comfortable learning experience and to achieve maximum efficiency during the tutoring.

I can tutor from now to January 31st all day long for any hours as I just graduate from my master's degree, and I am currently on vacation. I am planning to do another master's degree majoring in secondary teaching next year so I would get another student visa. Otherwise, I might apply for a five-year long working visa. My available teaching time after January 1st haven't been decided yet.

Self evaluation
I am a hard-working, responsible person doing a master’s degree in Australia, majoring in
TESOL. I have one semester left and my current visa is valid until March 2024. I am planning
to do another master ’s degree in secondary teaching so I might stay longer.

I am patient and extraverted enough to take care of children and I have several teaching
experiences that help me become competent in relevant areas. I also have a background in
automation, which cultivate my logical thinking ability. In my spare time, I usually work out in
