My name is Arkash and I am a graduate of Haileybury College with an ATAR of 99.90 in 2023. I have accumulated numerous hours of tutoring throughout this year and am very keen to help my students excel in the sciences, English or Latin. I love to tutor as it allows me to not only stay on top of the knowledge I have but pass down the information and ways of tackling the arduous year 12 year during VCE. As someone who has gone through the VCE system, I can confidently help and mentor students through the year with their studies and provide tips on how to best organise themselves as well. My style of teaching is very much based around learning content and doing specific questions for the content, particular VCAA questions and VCAA-style questions to allow students to become used to this style early in the year. My achievements within VCE:
- 99.90 ATAR
- 47 study score in English
- 49 study score in Chemistry - 49 study score in Biology - 44 study score in Latin (7th best in the state)
I can discuss my availability after this but generally if you want online tutoring, I can do most times during the week and am very flexible in terms of when you wish to do the lessons. If you wish to do face-to-face tutoring, I am happy to travel within Berwick and its neighbouring suburbs or meet in a public area like the Bunjil library. Generally, lessons go for 1-2 hrs (I am flexible with times and can do 1.5hrs as well) at a rate of $45 an hour for online and $55 for in person tutoring.
