Hi my name is Casey and I’m a 3rd year Computer Science and Finance student at the University of Sydney (USYD). I graduated from The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS) with an ATAR of 92.20 as a Foundation Scholarship student. I was recognised by the Australian Institute of Physics Magazine for my Science Extension major work and received the ADF Future Innovators Award w/ cash prize.

I participated in HICES debating, the Chemistry Olympiad and was Math Prefect for 2022 at TIGS. I received early entry in ANU, UTS and UOW and ranked internally top 5 in chemistry, physics and math advanced. I’m also a high performing student at university, receiving HDs in most of my subjects.

I'm a Lifetime Member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society for ranking in the top 10% of my degree at Sydney University and I was named on the School of Computer Science Undergraduate High Honour Roll for maintaining a High Distinction Average in Computer Science studies across 2024

I’ve been tutoring for the past 2 years in HSC Chemistry and Math Advanced in addition to Year 10 5.3 Math and plan on doing so for 2025. All my sessions serve a purpose;

- Reviewing previous, current or future content in the syllabus
- Practicing how to complete questions that follow a similar style to the HSC
- Marking & giving feedback on papers completed outside of session hours
- Working through & giving feedback on hand-in assessment tasks

My current students value my attention to detail, patience and ability to break down concepts all whilst ensuring consistent improvement throughout the year. I’m flexible when it comes to rescheduling sessions or even organising additional sessions around exam season, I’m on your team!

It’s important that your tutor takes a different approach to the classroom, not only to provide a different perspective to that of the classroom teacher but to also create an engaging and personal approach to learning that isn’t found in a classroom setting.

As required by law, I am able to provide a working with children’s check upon request before the commencement of any work.

Conditions:
- All pre-paid sessions expire at the end of the year they are purchased
- If less then 3 hours of notice is provided, except under exceptional circumstances, the session payment is either forfeited

- Pay-As-You-Go: $50/hr
- Prepay 4 sessions: $45/hr (total $180)
- Prepay 10 sessions: $40/hr (total $400)
