My Name is Dr Bradley Kirk (PhD), and I am a Material Scientist from Flinders University, working in the development of next-generation solar panel technology. I have extensive teaching experience in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, having taught at Flinders University for 5 years, for both local, interstate and international students, as well high-school and undergraduate (Science, Engineering, Health) students. I have also gained former teaching education, having successful completed the Academic Internship Program for Doctoral Students at Flinders University in 2023.

My teaching style is based on the students study goals, whether its providing assistance with understanding content, or preparing for future coursework. I will also provide advice on studying effectively, allowing for knowledge to be understood, rather than simply being "remembered".

The first session is free to get to know the student, understand the goals, and term a study plan to be able to succeed in their studies. Afterwards, my online tutoring rates are as advertised, while in-person sessions are negotiated (based on location and travel distance). I am happy to provide guidance for assessment pieces, however, I will not be writing them for the student.

I have been teaching Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics since 2019, having worked privately as a tutor for Secondary and Tertiary students, as well as an academic at Flinders University, specifically as lecturer, tutor, and laboratory demonstrator.

Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Enhanced Program for High Achievers), specialising in Physics and Chemistry. I have also partaken in the Flinders University Academic Internship Program for Doctoral Students.
