My approach to tutoring
I am motivated to prepare thoroughly and efficiently for students, as this preparation is directly aligned with my career goals as a math teacher. I guide students through questions which are personalised to their current skill level and love to have discursive conversations about the content to help them forge their own understanding of the material. I also provide just the right amount of support, by carefully paying attention to exactly where they need it. This ensures that students push past their comfort zone and develop the necessary skills to solve questions independently, which is crucial for exams and true understanding.
