- I am available ALL WEEKDAY (!! no weekends !!) AFTERNOONS except Friday, I am willing to tutor any time until 7 pm.
- Session times can be any length up to two hours.
- The time our sessions start will depend on your location and when I can arrive there, please discuss further with me via email or SMS if you are interested. - I can meet anywhere that is a < 10-minute walk from a train station from Hornsby to Burwood. A place I would most prefer to meet is a library such as the one in Hornsby, Epping, Eastwood or Burwood.
- I have consistently showcased high grades in my semester reports, these can be shown upon request once it is confirmed I will be tutoring your child. I have certificates for being in the top 10% of achievers in the Maths Olympiad and a Distinction for the AMC 2023.
- I have been exposed to questions that may be asked to primary school children as well as what they may struggle with, as I worked as a marker at Pre-Uni New College Epping for several months. Along with this, I have also tutored my younger sibling at home and other children of my parents' friends. - As a high-aiming student myself, I understand the importance of a good tutor. Having great tutors myself as a primary school student really helped me excel in my studies compared to many of my classmates, and I would really like to offer that to other students, to help them achieve great things in their school life :)
- The subject I am most confident in is Mathematics. - Lesson structure can vary depending on you and your child's preferences, again, feel free to discuss this further over email or SMS. If you have no preferences, I will go through your child's homework with them and ask what they need help most with. After this, I will give them a theory lesson to ensure they understand the concepts, followed by some practice questions. - Past tests, worksheets and homework sets are appreciated for me to understand your child's extent of knowledge.
- I value any parent feedback on my teaching style. Stickers, lollies and other small rewards can be provided by me if that is what your child likes :)
