Canberra tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, Further Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics, Statistics

Hi! My name is Arun. I graduated from Narrabundah College, ACT, in 2023 and am currently studying Bachelor of Medical Science (Provisional Medicine) at Griffith University under the Chancellor's Scholarship. In years 11 and 12, I undertook the following subjects: Specialist Mathematics- Core & Options (Double Maths), Physics, Chemistry and the ANU Extension Physics H Course, achieving a 99.90 ATAR. (My other achievements are listed below in the Qualifications section)

I remember during my years 11 and 12, initially, I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of content we had to cover. Not that there were insufficient resources online or provided by the school, just not all of it was useful and/or relevant. I was also 10 billion % sure that I wouldn't be able to go through all of them before the exam. I realised pretty quickly that most of the school resources either didn't show up in the finals or lacked the depth the school was looking for. And searching online was equivalent to jumping in a rabbit hole. It was a nightmare finding material of sufficient but not excessive difficulty.

This is where I can help you as a tutor. I can help you skip this inefficient and superfluous resource searching and sorting process and maximise your learning-to-studytime ratio. From my experience, I can quickly assess your strengths and weaknesses and I can give you personalised guidance to hone your skills, helping you be better prepared for exams. My teaching style will be tailor-made to suit you and your learning preferences, because my goal is to equip you with the adequate skill sets for college and help you see the science and maths embedded in our reality.
