Perth tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Human Biology, Microbiology, General Science, Biochemistry, RStudio

Kaya, I’m Kaylee, a uni student based in Perth, currently completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, with a double major in in Pharmacology & Toxicology and Conservation & Wildlife Biology.

I hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and have been employed as a tutor and academic coach by the Department of Education and Murdoch University.
These experiences have strengthened both my scientific knowledge and my ability to mentor and support other students (especially those pursuing STEM pathways).

Whether you’re preparing for university, refining your study skills, or tackling challenging coursework, I focus on building understanding rather than rote memorisation because real learning sticks when it makes sense.

I am offering online tutoring for Years 11 & 12 and first year university science classes in Chemistry, Biology, and Human Biology.

Additionally, I also offer guidance with university & scholarship applications and can help with anything from crafting standout personal statements to finding opportunities suited for your strengths.

I take a supportive and down-to-earth approach when tutoring. I know how overwhelming study can get, especially in science-heavy courses. My sessions are structured but flexible, focused on helping you truly understand concepts and apply them confidently in assessments or fieldwork.

Before we begin regular tutoring, I require a free 30-minute introductory session. This is our chance to meet, get comfortable working together, and make sure everything is set up properly on our online platform. During this session, we’ll go through your unit syllabus, discuss your goals and learning priorities, and identify any specific challenges you want to focus on. It’s also the perfect time to troubleshoot any tech issues or access questions so that when our paid sessions begin, we can jump straight into learning without interruptions.

Don't hesitate to ask me any questions :)
