As a tutor with a strong academic background, I graduated with an OP 1 (ATAR 99.5 equivalent) and achieved top marks in Mathematics B and C (equivalent to Methods and Specialist Mathematics), as well as Physics and Japanese. With real-world experience teaching in Australian schools and specializing in Mathematics and Education at university, I bring both expertise and passion to my tutoring sessions.

I love tutoring because I am deeply passionate about Mathematics and believe that, with the right approach, it can be both fun and accessible. Many students struggle with Maths because it is often taught in a way that feels overwhelming or confusing. I am confident in my ability to simplify complex concepts and make Maths enjoyable. The greatest satisfaction for me is seeing my students improve and tackle problems they once found too difficult.

My approach to tutoring is straightforward and systematic. I start with the basics of each concept, ensuring the student has a solid understanding before gradually introducing more challenging material. By breaking down problems into manageable steps, I help students build confidence and develop strategies for solving harder questions.

The structure of each lesson depends on the student's needs. For exam preparation, I begin by reviewing concepts from previous sessions to assess progress and ease the student into the lesson. We then focus on questions that push the student just beyond their comfort zone. For assignment help, the structure is more flexible, focusing on the specific stage of the assignment, ensuring the student has a clear strategy and timeline.

I recommend that students bring their class textbook to sessions, as it provides a solid foundation for our work together and ensures continuity with their schoolwork.
