MATHS TUTOR (YEAR 7-12)

Hi there, I am available for tutoring on weekdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and weekends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

I offer flexible tutoring options, including sessions at students’ homes, online, or at local libraries depending on the location.

I tutor Mathematics for students from Year 7 to Year 12.

I have obtained:
• Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from Charles Darwin University
• High school maths teacher at a college in Darwin CBD
• Over 2 years of teaching experience, including Year 11 and 12 Mathematical Methods and General, and over 8 years of tutoring high school students
• Proven track record of helping students achieve exam grades higher than 75%

Approach to Tutoring:
I focus on building a solid understanding of mathematical concepts by breaking them down into manageable steps. I use a range of teaching methods, including visual aids and real-world examples, to make lessons relevant and engaging.

Resources:
• I use Jacaranda JacPLUS to enhance student learning through interactive digital resources, including worked examples, auto-marked quizzes, and step-by-step solutions aligned with the Australian Curriculum
• I also use the HAESE Mathematics textbook, detailed notes, and practice exam papers to support senior students, particularly in Mathematical Methods and General
