Hello there!
I tutor English Language, Japanese, and Maths to both primary and secondary students. I can also teach Programming and Computer Science to those interested.

I am very passionate about Linguistics and English Language. I have read dozens of books on the topic (some of them make for excellent citations), and still continue to do so (I'm currently reading a Grammar of Old English). I received an award for attaining the highest mark in my cohort for Linguistics and English Language in my first year at Monash, which covers and extends upon topics taught in English Language, and is taught by the very woman who dreamt up the English Language textbook. Linguistics is one of my great passions in life, and I'm very eager to share all the knowledge I've accumulated over the years.

I've spent several years studying Japanese, and over that time I've become very familiar with all the different pitfalls the language presents, and how to overcome them. It's a beautiful language with a very interesting history and a somewhat convoluted yet marvellous writing system. I'd love to help others navigate it!

I am experienced in teaching mathematics, and have taught children ranging from Kindergarten to Year 11 at Kumon Camberwell for three years. I am very familiar with all the tricky concepts and common mistakes made during this period, and know exactly how to overcome them. I always ensure that my students have properly mastered the content before moving on, and will patiently walk through the content with them until they do.

I've been programming since I was in Year 5, and I firmly believe that anyone that can read and write can program too. I primarily teach Python, though if you have a specific language in mind I'm happy to cater to your needs - just contact me and I'll be happy to organise something.
