Hi, my name is Ammar Syed, and I completed Extension 1 and Advanced as an accelerated student. I attained a 99 in Mathematics Advanced and 46/50 in Mathematics Extension 1. I hope to pursue a career as a surgeon. My academic achievements include DUX for several years and becoming a Melbourne University Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholar. I have significant experience in coaching and guiding younger students in mathematics, science, robotics, and basketball.

But that's enough about me; what matters more is my approach to tutoring and how it will foster your ability to achieve your academic goals.

My Approach:
+ Breaking down and explaining concepts from the syllabus, helping you tackle the most difficult exam questions.
+ Refining examination techniques that are not taught in the traditional classroom
+ Getting ahead with content so you have more time for practice papers
+ Providing resources such as past papers and practice questions
+ Teaching you how to utilise your teachers and myself more effectively
+ Helping you develop study skills to manage and plan your time effectively.

Furthermore, my commitment to academic success extends beyond scheduled lessons. I am readily accessible for prompt communication and am able to mark practice papers and questions as well as record explanation videos to explain between sessions. This underscores my dedication to fostering a collaborative partnership in pursuit of academic excellence.
