Sydney tutor in Cello, Saxophone

Hi everyone! My name is Ethan, and I am a dedicated and passionate musician who is enthusiastic in inspiring students to enjoy and perform music to their full potential!

I am currently a student at UNSW studying law/music, and I graduated Sydney Grammar School in 2024. There, I was placed in the front desk of the top orchestra and wind ensemble, and elected into the music committee from 2023-2024.

I am proficient in two instruments- cello and saxophone- for which I have over 10 years of performing experience and received my AmusA diploma for both. On top of this, I received full marks in my music extension HSC and was nominated to perform at the Opera House as part of the ENCORE program.

In my lessons, I aim to foster an encouraging and focused atmosphere through my engaging methods of teaching. I communicate regularly with my students and their families to understand their goals and help achieve them.

As a result of these experiences, I have the knowledge on what it takes to spark a student’s passion for music and I would love to be a part of their musical journey!
