Canberra tutor in Algebra, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics, Study Skills

I'm a first year student studying a Bachelor of Advanced Science at ANU. I graduated from Narrabundah College, having taken Double Specialist Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Italian, Literature and ANU Extension.

I found I enjoyed teaching as I helped my peers. Apart from tutoring, I've mentored a team of students who made it to the International Stage of the STEM Tournament of Minds and undertaken work experience at a high school where I taught a class.

I enjoy working as a tutor as I find it rewarding to help students reach their full academic potential. As a tutor I like to adapt to the student's needs and learning style to help them excel to the best of their ability. I work with students to make the most out of tutoring, whether it's help with filling in missing knowledge, keeping up with work or extending beyond the curriculum. I emphasise trying to build critical thinking skills so that students are able to work independently when they need to.

I offer tutoring for all subjects for Years 7-10 and offer tutoring for Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Economics for Years 11 and 12. I'm familiar with both the BSSS and IB systems.

I'm available most days after school and on the weekends for tutoring. I can do either in-person at a convenient location or online.

I have a valid Working with Vulnerable People Card.
