Experience
I have experience as a teacher across the curriculum at primary level, as an English and humanities teacher at secondary level and as an English Language, humanities and LANTITE specialist at tertiary level. As an English literacy specialist consultant and tutor for a major Australian university, I ran English literacy classes both in person and online for student (ITE) teachers. As of 2025, because I desired more flexibility in my work schedule, I returned to teaching in secondary schools on the Mornington Peninsula on a casual relief basis and tutoring privately. I specialise in tutoring VCE English and Literacy for LANTITE. As well as all my teaching experience, my former employment history includes experience serving in the military and working in PR running Microsoft's UK HQ Press Centre.Qualifications

Profession
"I highly recommend Anna as an English tutor. In just a few months of working with my daughter Misha, Anna has transformed her ability to analyse complex English texts and construct strong, well-structured persuasive essays. What once was difficult for Misha is now approached with confidence and clarity. Misha’s her recent school assessments reflect this, with her marks steadily improving and her teachers specifically praising the depth of her textual analysis and the quality of her written arguments. Anna is patient, highly skilled, and brilliant at breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps. We are thrilled with the rapid progress and couldn’t ask for a better tutor."
