My name is Renee Taylor. My tutoring company is called "Taylor Made Journey." I am a qualified primary school teacher who started tutoring privately five years ago. My speciality is early intervention and filling in learning gaps for students with reading, writing, and spelling difficulties. I use Sounds-Write, an evidence-based phonics program, to teach reading, spelling and writing. It is a structured, cumulative, sequential and explicit method. I teach from home or travel within 15 km of my home.
My joy and passion are building relationships, building confidence, and guiding children through their literacy intervention journey—finding out where they are and where they need to go. My program includes reading books, one-on-one tuition, fun games, and guided home activities to enhance learning skills.
