I have recently graduated year 12 (VCE), and have 3 jobs. I enjoy tutoring as teaching is a passion of mine. I hope to become a registered psychologist upon completion of my uni degree, specialising in child and family or developmental psychology.

Lessons are structured based on individual needs. The best way to learn is by understanding learning styles and tweaking lessons accordingly. Depending on the individual, I may utilise a range of methods, such as PowerPoints, notes, short answer questions, quizzes, and interactive activities. If there is a set textbook, the student will be required to provide it during lessons. Additionally, class notes and assignments/homework will assist me in understanding what the focus of the lessons will be.

I offer general tutoring (English, Maths, History, etc) for prep to year 10, as well as Year 12 Text and Traditions, Legal Studies, History: Revs (France and Russia), General Maths and Psychology. I specialise in English (to yr 10) and 3/4 Psychology, and am well educated in 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell for textual study.

I have roughly 12 months of tutoring experience ranging from primary to high school, including working with students who have additional needs. Additionally, I often engage in study groups at school, including teaching my peers any topics they do not understand.

Qualifications

I have recently completed year 12 (VCE), studying English Language, History: Revolutions, Legal Studies, Text & Traditions, and General Mathematics(37).
In year 11, I completed accelerated (Unit 3/4) Psychology, obtaining a 35 study score.
Throughout my Secondary Education, I obtained numerous academic excellence and endeavour awards.

Rates

$25 per hour online
$30 per hour in person + $5 travel fee over 20km from Ferntree Gully
