I'm a Year 10 student with consistent A-grade results in English and Mathematics. I have a strong passion for helping younger students build confidence in their learning, especially in English, Maths, and foundational literacy skills. This is because I understand how younger students may struggle with aligning assignments to a rubric or curriculum despite having the skills to achieve a high grade.

I currently assist at a tutoring center where I mark work and support student progress. I have developed a clear, patient, and encouraging tutoring style. I also speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and study it formally in a language class.

I specialise in tutoring primary school students. I very much look forward and enjoy explaining tricky concepts in simple and logical steps. I aim to build students’ understanding, independence, and academic confidence.

- Subjects: English (reading comprehension, grammar, writing), Maths (concepts, word problems), primary school science. I aim to help students develop a strong time management. - Location: I am only available to meet in public spaces (such as the State Library or local library branches), within around 10 km of the CBD. Online meetings such as Zoom. - Availability: Weekends and selected weekday afternoons
- Lesson style: Flexible and structured based on the student's schoolwork or parent requests. Additional worksheets and practice can be implemented in tutoring sessions if needed

I am a passionate Year 10 student with a consistent academic record across all subjects, particularly in English and Mathematics. Qualifications

I am a consistent A-grade student in core academic subjects such as Maths and English. I enjoy learning biology and chemistry and I am skilled in grammar, reading comprehension, mathematics, and early writing development. I am fluent in basic Mandarin Chinese, and currently enrolled in formal language classes to further develop literacy. I am currently at an AMEB grade 7 level for piano and I am very familiar with the Australian primary school curriculum.
