Canberra tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, Further Maths, General Maths, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics, Statistics

I’m a third-year ANU student studying Actuarial Studies and Applied Data Analytics with over 3 years of tutoring experience. I’ve worked with more than 20 students from schools across Canberra, including Burgmann, Radford, Narrabundah, and Gungahlin College. In 2023, I was selected as an official After School Tutor at Burgmann Anglican School.

I specialise in STEM subjects, particularly Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I ranked 1st in Physics, 2nd in Chemistry, and 4th in both Specialist Maths and Methods, and received the Australian Institute of Physics Excellence Award.

I'm available on weekdays after 5 PM and on weekends, and I offer both online and in-person tutoring at your home or a convenient public location.

As a passionate tutor, I’m committed to helping every student reach their full potential. My tutoring style is flexible and depends on what works best for each student — whether that’s working through challenging questions, reinforcing classwork, or learning new concepts. I tutor Years 8 to 12 and structure lessons to suit individual needs, with a focus on clarity, confidence, and long-term progress.

Experience

I’ve been an After School Tutor at Burgmann Anglican School for the past three years, working closely with students from Years 7 to 12 across a range of subjects. In this role, I’ve supported students of all abilities within a structured school environment, focusing on curriculum alignment, assessment preparation, and long-term academic progress. I take pride in building strong, supportive relationships with my students and tailoring my teaching approach to suit their individual learning styles.

Alongside this, I’ve also provided private tutoring to students from various Canberra schools, including Radford College, Narrabundah College, and Gungahlin College. This experience has allowed me to work more flexibly and personally with students, adapting to different school systems and expectations. Whether it’s strengthening foundational skills or guiding students through advanced content, I aim to meet each student where they are and teach in a way that resonates with them—building both their confidence and capability.
