Brisbane tutor in Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, Further Maths, General Maths, General Science, Geometry, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics, Psychology, Statistics

Hello! My name is Rex and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physics, at the Queensland University of Technology.

I’ve always had a strong passion for science and mathematics. In high school, I consistently achieved high results in subjects like Physics, Maths, and Psychology, which strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and helping others understand how things work.

As a tutor, I aim to make complex ideas clear and easy to understand. I’m patient, friendly, and flexible in my teaching style—whether you’re catching up, revising for exams, or aiming to boost your grades, I’ll tailor each session to your needs.

Feel free to reach out through the Message button if you're looking for support in science or maths!

Experience

I have experience helping students both in and out of the classroom, including tutoring and mentoring. I’ve worked with younger students to improve their understanding of science and maths, focusing on clear explanations and step-by-step problem solving. Along with this I have been a Highschool tutor for the last year and a half and have gained a large amount of experience from this. From my experience as a high school tutor I have evolved my teaching styles and grown a tutoring session structure that helps students to learn.

All together my experiences have helped me develop a calm, supportive teaching style that adapts to each student's needs.
