Melbourne tutor in Algebra, Biology, Calculus, Further Maths, General Maths, General Science, Geometry, History, Human Biology, Maths, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Physics, Statistics

Hi! My name is Jaida, a university student currently studying Physics in Melbourne. Ive always loved science and problem solving, and I think that one of the most useful things I can offer as a tutor is that I dont always think about maths in the "usual" way that it is taugh. I tend to approach problems from different angles, which can be especially helpful for students who understand the concepts, but struggle with the way they are being told to solve the problem.

I'm happy to tutor maths and physics at a range of levels, from primary school, through to VCE and beyond. I can help with building confidence in the basics, working through difficult topics, preparing for tests and exams, and understanding how maths can actually apply to real life situations and other subjects like physics.

I also have a good understanding of basic chemistry and biology subjects, and am able to help out with general homework and humanities subjects ( i love history ) , although I woudlnt say this is my primary strength.

I am friendly, chatty and easy to get along with and I would want students to feel comfortable asking questions or saying they dont understand something, and I am happy to explain things in as many different ways as needed until it clicks.

I like to keep lessons organised and focused, while still maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable enviroment. depending on what is needed, we can work through homework, go over topics they are struggling with or do practice questions together.

I am available for in-person tutoring, potentially online, but I think maths is best learnt with everything right infront of you and much harder to understand over a screen.
