Hi, I'm Yashveer!

I'm a first-year medical student at Griffith University and graduated from University Senior College in Adelaide. Having gone through the challenges of secondary education myself, I understand how difficult it can be to manage school work while aiming for top marks—and I’m here to help you navigate that.

Back in Year 11, I was scraping by the A-band, despite countless hours of studying. By the end of Year 12, I was in the top 1% of my cohort. Through trial and error, I developed strategies, skills, and insights—ways to “cheat the system” and recognise patterns in exam questions. Now, I want to pass these on to you.

I focus on helping students study smarter, not just harder, with clear explanations, targeted assessment-specific feedback, and personalised guidance. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students gain confidence, improve their results, and take control of their learning.

Experience

I have over a year of tutoring experience and have also volunteered as a teaching assistant with an educational organisation, supporting students in both group and one-on-one settings.

During my own Year 12 studies, I learned through trial and error which strategies worked best for mastering complex topics and preparing effectively for exams. I now aim to pass on these methods, helping students avoid common pitfalls and build confidence in subjects like Chemistry, Biology, English, and Maths (up to Stage 2 Mathematical Methods). My strong academic results reflect my deep understanding of the material, and I genuinely enjoy teaching—seeing students grow and succeed is what motivates me most.
