Hello!

Trained Veterinary Surgeon with a strong academic background in science, biology and anatomy.

Extensive experience working with children and young adults, including young neurodivergent learners.

International experience caring for children across diverse cultures in the Middle East, Greece, and Istanbul.

Published poet and writer, with a passion for creative thinking and expression.

Very keen to help local children out during these summer holidays; I prefer making study sessions a playful, calm and relaxed environment, encouraging the use of imagination and play, and taking regular breaks - making learning a fun activity to be looked forward to, rather than a stressful and inpatient episode!

Students or parents can contact me by phone at 0416 874 669 or by email at [blossom.hibbert@gmail.com]. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.

Would prefer to work in Fitzroy/ collingwood/ carlton, however am happy to cycle further out if you feel I would be a good fit!

Experience

I have worked as a tutor in England (Manchester and London), for a year. I have done group tutor sessions in the local library, and supported younger children in homework clubs. I have experience working with neurodivergent younger children (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia).

Qualifications

I am a trained veterinary surgeon; I have a bachelors of Science (Hons) and bachelors of Veterinary Medicine (Hons). I have also completed A-Levels (tertiary education) in English Language, Psychology, Chemistry, Biology and Drama studies. I am very confident in science and happy to tutor all levels of this, especially for any aspiring vets out there!

I gave up veterinary medicine to pursue my true passion; which is writing short stories and poetry. I am also happy to tutor in creative writing!
