I hold a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts, majoring in Accounting and French with minors in Chinese and Economics, and I completed my Chartered Accountant qualification with merit in 2020. I have over 10 years of experience in accounting, finance and business management, including eight years at a Big 4 accounting firm where I began as an intern and grew my career while building strong networks across multiple service lines.

Much of my teaching experience has come through coaching colleagues and supporting peers throughout my studies and professional roles, helping them develop confidence with complex concepts and real-world application. I approach tutoring with patience, clarity, and a focus on helping students feel capable and in control of their learning.

In addition to academic support, I also offer general career mentoring for students interested in accounting, finance, or consulting pathways. For those aiming for Big 4 internships or graduate roles, I am happy to provide guidance and, where appropriate, facilitate introductions within my professional network.

My tutoring hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30pm to 9:30 pm AEST, online only at this stage due to having a young family!

Experience

Most of my teaching experience has been through helping classmates, friends, and colleagues — explaining things in a way that finally made it “click.” I’ve always enjoyed guiding others to that point where something that seemed confusing becomes simple and manageable. Tutoring is just a natural extension of what I’ve already been doing for years.
