Hi, I'm Vikram, and I graduated from The King's School. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine (BMedSt/MD) at Bond University.
For my HSC, I completed Maths Extension 1, Maths Advanced, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies and Studies of Religion, with Studies of Religion accelerated.
HSC Tutoring
For Preliminary and HSC students, I specialise in Maths and eSciences, having achieved Band 6 results in these subjects.
I believe that Maths, Biology and Chemistry can be some of the most rewarding HSC subjects when approached with the right strategy and guidance. My tutoring focuses not just on getting through the content, but on understanding concepts, improving exam technique and consistently applying knowledge to HSC-style questions.
With small but consistent efforts and the right guidance, I aim to help students push towards high Band 6 results (93+) and reach their individual potential.
I also provide limited 1-to-1 and group tutoring for Business Studies, having achieved a 93 in the HSC.
Medicine Interview Training
I also offer 1-to-1 medicine interviews and MMI preparation for students applying to undergraduate medicine.
Having recently gone through the medical admissions process myself, I understand how different the interview stage can be from normal school exams. My sessions are designed to help students become more confident, structured and comfortable when faced with unfamiliar questions and scenarios.
Interview preparation can include:
Realistic MMI station practice
Panel interview practice
Ethics and medical scenarios
Communication and empathy stations
"Why medicine?" and personal questions
Questions about your experiences and extracurricular activities
Handling unexpected or difficult questions
Developing structured answers without sounding scripted
Thinking clearly under time pressure
Detailed feedback after each practice station
Full mock interviews
The focus isn't on memorising perfect answers. Instead, I help students develop frameworks and communication skills they can apply to unfamiliar questions while becoming more comfortable speaking under pressure.
Whether you're just starting your preparation or have an interview coming up soon, sessions can be tailored to your individual university, interview format and areas for improvement.
Online Tutoring
All services are conducted online, allowing flexible scheduling around both my university commitments and the student's school schedule.
