I teach from my quiet, welcoming space in Rye, Mornington Peninsula, and online. I offer discounts for tuition during school hours, and I am also available after school. I am a VIT registered teacher. I am trained in the Orton Gillingham approach which is known as an effective method to teach reading and spelling for all students but in particular for students with dyslexia. I have had 5 years of experience successfully teaching students to read and spell using this approach. I am also trained in Extending Mathematical Understanding and use this to effectively teach students with difficulties in maths, including dyscalculia. I love helping children build confidence through calm, structured lessons tailored to their needs, using hands-on materials and evidence-based resources. My approach is gentle, patient, and focused on helping each child experience success in a way that feels achievable.
