Hi all! I'm Adnan, a passionate pharmacist and first-year medical student. I'm committed to helping children excel in the sciences. I take a student centred approach and ensure that my teaching is in line with how my students learn. I’m a tutor with a strong background in science, healthcare, and academic coaching. I have experience in pharmacy, clinical environments, and ongoing medical studies, which allows me to teach with real-world clarity and practical insight. I’ve worked with students at various stages and understand the challenges that come with science-heavy subjects.

I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students turn confusion into confidence. Watching someone finally understand a tough concept—or improve their marks after consistent work—is incredibly rewarding. I aim to create a calm, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking steps forward.

[My Tutoring Approach]

My sessions are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on:

Using real-life examples from healthcare and science.
Building problem-solving skills, not just memorisation.
Offering consistent feedback and encouragement, even outside of tutoring time, at no extra cost.

I also work with students on motivation, exam mindset, and study organisation, which often make the biggest difference in performance.

Experience

I have been privately tutoring for over six years working with year 11 and 12 students. I also have one year tutoring experience in GAMSAT sections 2+3 as well as interviews and CASPER coaching.

Qualifications

I graduated in 2020 with an ATAR of 94.8, achieving highest bands in biology and chemistry. I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours Class 1 and am currently in my first year of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Notre Dame Australia.
