My name is Naaz Kaur, and I am a dedicated and passionate tutor based on the Gold Coast. I have been tutoring middle-school and early high-school students for several years, both privately and through my school’s tutoring program, and I love helping students gain confidence and truly understand their subjects. I offer tutoring in Maths, Science, English, and general academic support for students especially in Years 7–11, and I always tailor my explanations and lessons to match each student’s learning style. I am patient, adaptable and genuinely enjoy working with younger students.

I am currently completing Year 12 at A.B. Paterson College, where I study Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. I have consistently achieved exceptional results across all of these subjects, and I completed English Literature Accelerated a year early with outstanding marks. My strong academic background allows me to support students across a broad range of subjects while still specialising in mathematics and the sciences. I also provide structured notes, revision sheets, worksheets and practice questions to help students consolidate their learning outside of lessons.

I am available for in-person tutoring on weekends from 8am–6pm at Southport Library, Griffith University Library, and Helensvale Library. I also offer online tutoring with additional flexibility throughout the week, which can be ideal for busy students or those who prefer the comfort of home.

I currently volunteer as a maths tutor at my school, supporting both junior and senior students. I also run private tutoring sessions from my home and online for students across different year levels.

Qualifications

I am a Year 12 student who has completed English Literature Accelerated, and achieved outstanding Year 11 results in the rest of my subjects. I have strong academic performance across my subjects, excellent communication skills, and I work well with children. My experience in both school-based and private tutoring has helped me create engaging, personalised learning strategies for each student.
