Hi, I’m Ryan :), a recent graduate of Glen Waverley Secondary College and a achieved an ATAR of 99.4. I was also the highest performer for English Language 3/4.

Having recently completed VCE myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel — not because students lack ability, but because it’s often unclear what to prioritise and how to prepare effectively. My goal as a tutor is to help students feel clear, confident, and in control of their learning

I tutor VCE English Language, Mathematical Methods, and Chemistry, with a strong focus on exam technique, structured responses, and efficient study habits. My lessons break complex ideas into simple, repeatable steps and consistently link learning back to SAC and exam requirements.

I’ve worked with students in VCE Mathematical Methods and English Language, helping them improve their SAC results and feel more confident going into exams. In Methods, I focus on helping students understand how to approach questions, use their CAS efficiently, and show clear working to pick up marks they often miss. I draw on experience with 100+ VCE Methods SACs, so students know what examiners are actually looking for.

In English Language, I help students build confidence with metalanguage, tighten their paragraph structure, and write responses that directly target assessment criteria. I also provide access to a wide range of resources beyond standard VCAA samples. Across both subjects, my aim is to give students clarity and direction so they feel organised, less stressed, and prepared when it matters.
