My name is Shrivanth Gollapudi, and I am currently in Year 10. As a high achieving student, consistently ranked in the top 10% of my year level, I am the only student accelerating VCE Units 1&2 Maths Methods in my year level. I have participated in many competitions such as the Australian Mathematics Competition, receiving distinction awards. Every year, I am also invited and selected to participate in the Gifted and Talented Education Program offered by my school.

My passion for helping primary school and Year 7 students achieve their goals in Maths and English stems from my own love of learning and teaching. My teaching style involves consolidating the school curriculum whilst extending them beyond the class work. I provide all resources that are used during class and for homework. I aim to work with the student and their family, prioritising open communication and constant check-ins to ensure that the student feels supported and challenged in classes.

I provide online tutoring in an interactive and engaging manner, and have flexible availability during the weekdays as well as weekends. I also provide a free 30 minute online consultation so that I can formulate a learning plan with the student and their family prior to starting paid lessons.

Although, I am new to formal tutoring, as a high achieving student, I lead class conversations and assist peers with their work when they are struggling. I am excited to work with students in a professional capacity to help them achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications

In my last three years of secondary education, I have consistently been ranked in the top 10% of the year level, and been asked to participate in the Gifted and Talented Education Program at my school. I have participating in several Maths competitions, such as the Australian Mathematics Competition, receiving distinction awards. Additionally, I have been an integral part of the debating and public speaking team at my school and hope to continue fostering these skills throughout my high school education.
