Bachelor-Qualified Primary Teacher | Languages | Spanish Native
Brisbane tutor in French, Geography, History, Spanish, Spanish Conversation
Hi! I’m Alicia, a Primary and Early Childhood qualified teacher originally from Spain. I recently moved to Brisbane to continue developing my career in education. I’ve been working as a tutor since my university years and have several years of experience teaching both children and adults.
I have worked as a teacher in English academies in Spain and have also lived and worked in Ireland for the past two years, where I gained valuable international teaching experience before moving to Australia. I have extensive experience tutoring children in core subjects, with a strong focus on language learning.
Languages are my main passion. I mainly teach English and French—I studied in a bilingual French school—and I have a strong level of English, which allows me to communicate confidently and effectively with my students. I also offer Spanish conversation classes for adults, as well as language lessons in English, French, and Spanish for children, from 3 years old through to high school. In addition, I can provide general tutoring and homework support when needed.
I’m patient, friendly, and adaptable, and I always tailor my lessons to each student’s age, level, and learning style. My goal is to help students feel confident, motivated, and comfortable while learning.

Experience
I have extensive tutoring experience, mainly focused on language learning, which is one of my biggest passions. I have given private lessons in English and French, primarily to primary school children, supporting them with school content, homework, and overall language development. I also have experience tutoring teenagers and adults, adapting my teaching style to different ages, levels, and learning goals.
In addition to English and French, I have provided Spanish conversation classes for adults, helping them improve their speaking confidence and fluency in a relaxed and supportive environment. As a native Spanish speaker with a strong background in education, I enjoy making language learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education, which allows me to combine strong pedagogical knowledge with hands-on teaching experience. I always adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, focusing on building confidence, motivation, and real progress. Teaching languages is something I truly enjoy, and I find it very rewarding to help students develop their communication skills and see their confidence grow.
