In 2026 I am beginning a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at The University of Melbourne.
I initially started tutoring VCE English, Literature, and English Language in 2026, and I have received consistent feedback from my students that my tutoring methods have aided to improve their confidence, writing techniques, knowledge and marks.
Additionally, I spent two years training disabled youth hospitality skills through the 'Here 4 Hospitality' program, which strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to adapt explanations to individual learning needs. I currently work part-time as a Medical Receptionist, which has further developed my organisational skills and professionalism.
My areas of expertise include text analysis, essay and analytical writing, creative writing, reading comprehension, and SAC and assessment preparation.
I am available for tutoring weekday afternoons and evenings, with some flexibility depending on student needs. Availability can be discussed upon enquiry. The best way for students or parents to contact me is via email, which allows me to respond promptly and organise sessions efficiently.
Tutoring sessions may be conducted online or in person at a mutually convenient location, such as a library or my home. My tutoring rate is $70 per hour.
My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and personalised. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. I focus on breaking tasks into manageable steps and helping students understand why certain techniques are effective. For SACs and major assessments, I prefer to provide written feedback before the tutoring session. This allows the student to review my comments, reflect on suggested improvements, and use lesson time to ask questions and refine their work further. I provide written feedback, annotations, revision notes, and writing guidance tailored to each student’s needs. I also work closely with school criteria and assessment rubrics where available.
