I am a 24 year old, qualified primary-trained teacher, currently in my third year of teaching, with experience supporting students across a range of abilities from years 1-9. I tutor primary mathematics (Years 1–6), and also middle school mathematics (Years 7-9) focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and problem-solving skills. I am available to tutor most weeknights from 4:30–8pm and Sundays, with some flexibility by arrangement. The best way to contact me is via email or text message, and I am happy to tutor in students’ homes, at a local library, or online, depending on what works best for the family.

I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with students, identify gaps quickly, and help them experience success in maths in a supportive, low-pressure environment. My areas of expertise include number and place value, addition and subtraction strategies, multiplication and division, fractions and decimals, problem solving, and maths confidence building. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, starting with a brief review, explicit teaching of a focus skill, guided practice, and independent work to consolidate learning. I provide structured worksheets, targeted practice tasks, and revision notes, and can align sessions with the Australian Curriculum or classroom content. My lessons are engaging, clear, and purposeful, with regular feedback provided to both students and parents.
