Hi there! My name is Remi and I am a 2024 VCE graduate, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University and majoring in anthropology and history! While I'm new to online tutoring, I have lots of experience working with kids. Through my experience as a qualified swimming teacher for ages 3+, I am well versed in getting to know each individual's needs and constructing lesson plans accordingly. I have also worked in a community kindergarten, allowing me to understand how to effectively teach a range of ages. My approach has always centered on creating a calm and safe environment for students to ask questions and make mistakes unjudged, because that's where real growth begins! I believe tutoring should cater to the student's pace and individual needs, since there is no "one size fits all". As I aspire to be a primary school teacher, I am keen to keep gaining experience!

I graduated with an atar of 91.05, completing 6 subjects: English, General Mathematics, Psychology, Health and Human Development, Art Creative Practice and Legal Studies. I specialize in English and essay-writing (ss:35.76, Dux of English 1&2), as well as Art Creative Practice (ss: 43.29) and Legal Studies (ss: 38.46). I am offering online tutoring to both primary and secondary students, however I do have more experience with primary school/early high school ages. My schedule is quite flexible, so please reach out to discuss when works for you. I hold a current Working with Children's Check as well. Please feel free to send me an email if you are interested!
