Adelaide tutor in Creative Writing, English, English Literature, Essay Writing, Geography, History, Journalism, Politics, Society and Culture, SACE-level AIF

I am a dedicated secondary educator who tutors because I enjoy helping students build skills, confidence, and independence in their learning. I believe all students can improve with guidance, structure, and encouragement.

I have experience teaching Years 7-11 across English, HASS, Journalism, and AIF, and a strong understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements. This allows me to provide focused, practical support that aligns with what students are expected to know and do at school.

My tutoring approach is student-centred, structured, and supportive. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, goals, and curriculum needs, using explanations, scaffolded instruction, examples, and guided practice. I teach explicit skills in reading, writing, analysis, and subject knowledge, with a strong focus on assessment and exam preparation.

I am patient, professional, and approachable, creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I primarily work with secondary students, and also support tertiary students with essay writing, proofreading, and feedback.

I offer after-school tutoring with in-person sessions available in Adelaide, and online tutoring available for all students across Australia.
