Sydney tutor in Music Theory, Viola

I offer tutoring in viola and AMEB music theory, and can help with theory training for HSC Music 2 or Extension. I am also looking to teach drums in the near future - keep an eye out. If you study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and are looking for someone to help with Harmony & Analysis units, I can assist there too.

I teach in Croydon, but am also open to theory lessons via Zoom, and are also willing to travel locally to teach either viola or theory.

Qualifications

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Music and Advanced Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

I completed my AMus Diploma on viola in 2025, and passed my AMus Diploma for Theory in Harmony & Counterpoint in 2024.

In academic music I ranked 1st in HSC Music 2 and Extension at Concord High School and was a Distinguished Achievers for both courses, ultimately graduating with a 92 ATAR in 2024.

I am a member of multiple ensembles, including: The Sydney Youth Orchestra, Strathfield Symphony Orchestra, TOPS Symphony Orchestra, Pulse Alive Showband in a tutoring role, Tim Li Orchestra, and various smaller chamber groups.

During high school I played with the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit Symphony Orchestra, Schools Spectacular Symphony Orchestra, Pulse Alive Showband, Australian Youth Orchestra Young Symphonists & National Music Camp, State Senior Wind Band, ARCO Young Mannheim Symphonists NSW Intensive Orchestra, Symphonia Jubilate Primo, and 5 school ensembles among others.

I mainly play classical styles, but am open to others too if needed.
