Experience

I worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at a Russian language school in Sydney for two years, supporting classroom teachers and helping students develop their grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Following this experience, I became a fully qualified teacher at the same school and now independently teach my own group of students. I work with different classes across various age groups and levels — from beginners to more advanced learners.

My experience includes:
• teaching children and teenagers
• supporting bilingual and heritage speakers
• helping students strengthen grammar and vocabulary
• developing reading and writing skills
• preparing students for school assessments and exams
• adapting lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

Working with students of different ages and language backgrounds has allowed me to develop a flexible, structured, and supportive teaching approach.

Qualifications

I completed 11 years of schooling in Russia — 9 years in person and the final 2 years online. Before leaving Russia, I achieved 100% in my final Russian language examination.

After moving to Australia, I continued my academic journey by graduating from a Russian language school in Sydney, where I was awarded a Golden Medal for outstanding achievement.

I also completed the HSC Russian Continuers exam in Australia, achieving 4th place in NSW in 2024. This result reflects both my advanced language proficiency and strong academic understanding of the HSC curriculum and assessment standards.

My educational background in both Russia and Australia allows me to understand different language learning systems and effectively support students preparing for academic success.
