Hi, I’m Urja – a Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Sydney with a strong academic background (93.6% Senior Secondary, BTech CGPA 9.35/10) and experience teaching students from Primary to Year 10. I’m passionate about helping students build real confidence in subjects that often feel challenging at first.

I specialise in Mathematics and STEM subjects, and I also tutor Physics, Chemistry, Biology (up to Year 10), and introductory Programming (Python & Java). I am familiar with the structure and expectations of HAST, HAST-P, and HSC-style assessments, including reasoning-based problem solving and exam strategy.

I achieved an IELTS score of 8.5, demonstrating strong English communication skills, which helps me clearly explain ideas and support written responses when needed.

My style is structured, adaptive, and confidence-focused.

• I first identify foundational gaps before moving into new content.
• I break complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps.
• I encourage students to explain their thinking to strengthen understanding.
• For exam-focused students, I include timed practice, error analysis, and structured revision planning.

I believe a tutor should not just improve grades, but help students feel capable and in control of their learning.

I provide structured worksheets, guided practice questions, and targeted revision exercises. Sessions are personalised based on the student’s syllabus and learning goals.
What sets me apart is that I combine strong academic depth with patience, clarity, and a calm, supportive approach. I genuinely enjoy seeing students progress from uncertainty to confidence.
