I am a dedicated and supportive VCE English tutor with a strong understanding of the VCAA study design and assessment criteria. I specialise in helping students develop clear, insightful responses across Text Response, Comparative Analysis, and Argument Analysis, while building the confidence and structure needed to perform well under exam conditions.

My approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into manageable strategies. I help students understand what assessors are really looking for, how to craft strong topic sentences, and how to analyse texts with depth rather than memorisation. Experience

Both a teacher and tutor since 2003, I have many years of experience in helping students at all levels achieve their best in English, Literature and EAL - three subjects that I currently teach at a VCE level. I have also overseen the rigorous select entry testing programs at some of Melbourne's top private tutoring colleges in reading and verbal reasoning (not mathematics).
