Hi, I’m Nohad.
I tutor GAMSAT Section 3 and mathematics and science across all levels, from primary school through to university. But I did not grow up finding school easy. I struggled with confidence, second guessed myself constantly and often felt like everyone else understood things faster than I did. Over time, I realised the issue was not intelligence. It was strategy, structure and resilience.
Learning how to study properly changed everything for me. I became more disciplined, more reflective and far more deliberate in how I approached problems. That process is what built my resilience and it is also why I am passionate about helping students move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling capable.
I do not believe in natural talent as the deciding factor. I believe in clear thinking, consistent effort and the right systems. That is what I teach.

*GAMSAT Section 3*
Section 3 is not simply a knowledge exam. It is a reasoning exam.
I have sat the GAMSAT multiple times and scored 75 in Section 3. That score did not come from memorising more content. It came from changing how I approached problems.
Many students preparing for Section 3 feel overwhelmed. They question their resources, their science background and whether they need to relearn entire degrees. In our sessions, we focus on clarity under pressure.
Our sessions are structured and practical. We work on:
• Slowing down your thinking under time pressure
• Breaking apart long, dense stems without feeling overwhelmed
• Identifying common ACER traps
• Reviewing questions properly so you actually improve
• Building a repeatable reasoning framework
I also guide you toward the right resources so you are not wasting time. We set up a realistic study schedule and adjust it as needed. Reflection is a core part of what we do. After each set of questions, we analyse not just what went wrong, but also why your reasoning led to it and how to refine it.
You will leave each session knowing exactly what to practise next.

*Mathematics and Science Tutoring*
I also tutor mathematics and science for primary, high school, and early university students.
My focus is not just on getting through homework. It is building understanding and confidence.
For younger students, I prioritise:
• Strong foundational skills
• Clear explanation of concepts
• Structured practice
• Exam and assessment preparation
For senior students, I focus on:
• Problem solving under exam conditions
• Translating theory into application
• Identifying knowledge gaps
• Study strategy and revision planning
I am comfortable teaching core mathematics, chemistry, biology, and general science. Sessions are tailored to the student’s level and curriculum.

*What Sessions Look Like*
Sessions are structured and purposeful.
We begin by identifying the goal for the session.
We work through targeted questions or concepts.
We pause to analyse reasoning and method.
We finish with clear next steps and practice tasks.
I do not simply provide answers. I teach students how to think through problems independently.

*Location*
GAMSAT tutoring is conducted online.
High school and university tutoring can be conducted online or at the University of Sydney.
For younger students, I offer in home tutoring within a reasonable distance, subject to availability.
If you are looking for structured, honest guidance and someone who will push you to think properly rather than memorise blindly, I am ready to help.

Experience
Regarding tutoring experience, I was a literary specialist at Cumberland Education from 2018 to 2020. While working at Cumberland Education, I supported students with diverse learning difficulties, such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. While working at Cumberland, I mainly tutored students in literacy and maths. Concurrently, I engaged in private tutoring, helping university students with their nursing, biology and chemistry units. I have also privately tutored primary school students, focusing on selective school exams, NAPLAN and maths. Most recently, I assisted colleagues in their GAMSAT studies by explaining difficult scientific concepts, marking their essays, and running twice-weekly reflective sessions where we would run through their answers to completed GAMSAT questions and either validate or improve their reasoning skills.
Qualifications
I studied a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney and completed a research-intensive Honours year at the Children’s Medical Research Institute with the Cell Biology laboratory. I began a PhD in cancer research; however, I decided to pursue medicine instead. I recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Public Health, receiving an overall 7 GPA. I have sat the Graduate Australian Medical School Admission Test (GAMSAT) multiple times, receiving a score within the 92nd percentile. I also sat the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), receiving a score above the 8th decile.
