I have a love for study and teaching and I wish to impart this same love upon all my students. It is important to me that I support my students as they pursue academic success and inspire them to love what they do while they do it. I have attained a high standard of academic achievement in the HSC and have over 2 years of experience equipping students from my high school with the conceptual and practical skills they need to achieve similar success. I have also completed over 6 months of work with Art of Smart as a tutoring mentor following my HSC exams in 2023. My teaching subjects include Modern History, English Advanced, English Extension I, Studies of Religion II, and Clarinet from grades 1-8 AMEB.

Experience

I have had ample experience tutoring students in Modern History, English Advanced/Extension, Modern History and Studies of Religion II. I study a Bachelor of Laws under the Ramsay Scholarship at the university, so I am also available to tutor in legal studies upon request. I am able to tutor students in years 7-10, coaching in humanities subjects and providing guidance for study skills and habits. I have thorough experience guiding individual students towards the HSC exams in the subjects listed above, both informally during my time at high school and after graduation, where I maintained connections with my former peers and assisted them with the completion of their final exams.

I have over 10 years of experience in music tuition and can teach up to grade 8 AMEB level on the Clarinet. I am especially experienced in tutoring younger students and beginners new to music, and I can also assist with basic piano skills. I am able to build individual repertoires for students, and assist with the rehearsal of ensemble music for orchestras and bands.
