I am a registered secondary Mathematics teacher with over 15 years of tutoring experience in Australia and the United States. I specialise in senior secondary mathematics, including Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, and Extension level courses.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Pure Mathematics from Drexel University and a Master of Teaching from the University of Technology Sydney. Many of the students I have taught have consistently achieved ATAR scores of 95 and above.

My teaching focuses on building strong conceptual understanding, clear problem-solving strategies, and exam preparation so students gain both confidence and high results in mathematics.

I am a Mathematics teacher based in Canberra and registered with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI). I have been tutoring since the age of 15 and have helped more than 200 students through private tutoring, online lessons, and tutoring organisations across Australia and the United States. Originally from Nepal, my education spans three continents: UK-based A-Levels, a Bachelor of Mathematics in the United States, and a Master of Teaching in Australia.

My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, tailored to the individual needs of each student. I emphasise first-principles thinking, abstraction, pattern recognition, and higher order problem solving. These are mathematical habits of mind that extend well beyond the classroom.

Outside of teaching, I am an endurance athlete who has completed Ironman events and World Major Marathons. I also enjoy scuba diving, table tennis, calisthenics and travelling.
